Deadline for Simcard registrations will not be extended- communication minister 

The deadline for Simcard registration-Communications had been scheduled for 31st July,2022 which is deemed not to be extended as announced by the communications minister. The ministry stated that it has made enough effort including the National communications Authority (NCA) and the telecommunication companies to ensure that all Ghanaians register their Sim cards.

The minister said, the deadline was extended by 4 months and will finally end on 31st July,2022 and that after 31st ,it will not be extended sector minister, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful  urges everyone to register before the said deadline.

Ursula Owusu explains that the Simcard registration Communication is essential to the development of Ghana's economy to prevent Cyber crimes all over in the country.
